Job Specification

Design and implement creative and engaging marketing projects that resonate with our customers and achieve results!

  • 12 month fixed term role
  • Direct/digital savvy strategic marketer
  • Wellington based

This is your opportunity to bring your leadership skills, marketing savvy and analytical prowess to ensure we're helping NZ'ers get their taxes and entitlements right from the start.

Bring your passion for innovation and deliver projects across a range of areas such as encouraging online uptake, tax refunds information, and Student Loan repayments.

About the role

You'll play a key role in:

  • Understanding and delivering complex customer campaigns that align with our broader marketing programme.
  • Bouncing around ideas, sharing thoughts, and providing feedback to the team. Your wealth of experience brings insight and perspective; your curiosity asks how we can explore the options, or try another approach to get the desired outcome.
  • Working with the broader Marketing & Communications group, as well as with Customer Segment SME's and leads. There will be some external agency engagement; you're the one who brings the strategy with a clear target market and channel approach, then drives the project through.

What you'll need to bring to the role

  • Proficiency in influencing behaviour through multi-channel marketing strategies and projects across a range of customer segments. This role is strongly customer-centric, so you need to know and understand the best approach to achieve the ideal outcome.
  • An appreciation for customer insights, good analytics and measurement techniques.
  • A sense of team play and a positive, inquisitive nature.
  • Previous experience working in a large, complex organisation would be advantageous.
