As a team we're looking to see how we can be in the best position as we move closer to the next stage  of Inland Revenue's Business Transformation journey.  To make this as seamless as possible, we need to work on our current position to ensure we're best placed to move forward.

We have a number of areas where we can use your skills including:

  • Identifying areas requiring data purification
  • Working within our co-existence (two systems) processes
  • Enabling us to provide certainty over system balances

As a Service Officer you will provide advice and assistance for a range of services to our Large Enterprises customers.  This involves analysing information to make effective decisions and being highly committed to, and capable, of identifying and addressing customer needs.  You will also need to communicate with a variety of people using effective interpersonal skills.

You will work across Large Enterprises customer group, based on business needs and work closely with other teams within Inland Revenue to deliver results

Preferred skills include:

  • Strong ICT/computer skills and the ability to quickly pick up new ICT systems
  • Customer service experience
  • High attention to detail and able to find and fix errors as needed
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices underlying the New Zealand tax administration system
  • Effective workload management and delivery on commitments.
  • High standards of integrity
