We have an opportunity for enthusiastic Collections Officers to join our Child Support International Hamilton teams.

Our aim to promote voluntary compliance, deter future non-compliance and collect defaulted debt.  You will work with Child Support International customers with outstanding payments, and use a wide range of tools for carrying out education and enforcement activities, including legal action.

Ideally you will:

  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate sound decision making and analytical skills
  • Have the ability to relate to people from all walks of life and to look for win-win solutions
  • Be a results orientated self-starter and highly resilient
  • have strong debt negotiation experience with the ability effectively negotiate successful outcomes
  • Be able to work independently and also thrive in a team environment

Hours of work will be 37 hours and 55 minutes per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5.05pm and in accordance with any rosters operating within the business unit.

Are you keen to join us?

On offer is the opportunity to gain valuable experience and be part of our journey.  We work in a fun, and at times fast paced team environment.  To ensure your success, you will be provided with appropriate training and support along with regular coaching and performance feedback.
