Recruiters - where does your buzz come from?

We would say “relationship management” – if you said the same, keep on reading!

As a team of experienced recruiters we love working here because of the people, our customers.

There is no better time for you to join Inland Revenue.  We're currently undertaking a major change programme as we transform the NZ tax and social policy system.  In a few years' time we will be super proud to say that we are a world-leading revenue organisation.  It's an exciting journey to be part of and you'll thrive here if you enjoy challenging yourself and will embrace a changing environment.

In the meantime, we are never standing still in Recruitment as we look for ways to source, attract and select talented individuals for a range of roles across our large-scale and diverse business.  You will be the kind of Recruiter who is highly versatile, hands on and constantly thinking “how can we do this better, faster, more effectively?”  It's not just a job vacancy you will have to understand but the business as a whole where you will need to see and understand any potential impacts of resourcing decisions.  Hiring managers will seek you out, so you'll need to be ready, deliver with pace and be certain with your sound judgement and knowledge.

With a full Recruiter tool-kit you'll have experience either as an agency or internal Recruiter where you have actively engaged with clients/customers and candidates in an end-to-end model.  You don't just screen CVs, take job orders and post jobs.  As a successful Recruiter, you understand the job market, you know the latest industry trends and you utilise technology to find scarce talent.  You want to partner with your hiring managers, influence resourcing decisions and you're not afraid to try new things.

In return we offer a challenging and stimulating environment.  The short walk from the railway station means you can leave your walking shoes at home if you want to.  Naturally, we think our team is the best!  We work hard, enjoy what we do, have fun and laugh out loud.  We offer a supportive team environment, where no idea is a silly idea and we are motivated to be at the top of our ‘game'.

Believe you can add value to our team?  For a confidential discussion please contact Julie Mancebo, Recruitment Advisor, on 04 890 5683.

For IR employees, please ensure you have prior approval from your team leader/manager before applying.

Applications close on Wednesday 13th December - we look forward to reading your cover letter and CV submitted via the Inland Revenue website soon.
