We are seeking a Strategic HR Business Partner with the skills, experience and vision to lead engagement between People & Culture, our senior leaders and their teams.


With a customer portfolio that includes one or more of our Executive Leaders and their leadership teams, you will ensure that people solutions required to enable your customers strategic and operational objectives are identified, designed and deployed.


Additionally, a core component of your role will be in bringing the ‘outside in' perspective of your customers to Inland Revenue's Organisational People priorities and programmes; working proactively to ensure initiatives are designed, developed and deployed with our customers in mind. 


You will be a core contributor to the development of both the strategic direction and the operational business planning process within People and Culture and your customer portfolio.  You will have a strong desire to make a difference.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in HR partnership with senior leaders within a complex environment;
  • Experience of supporting senior leadership through significant and enduring change;
  • Experience and sound knowledge in operational and strategic aspects of a range of HRM disciplines with the ability to apply that in a senior leadership environment;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to facilitate, persuade and influence senior leaders and colleagues;
  • Experience of sourcing/brokering people and culture related services with a proven business impact.
