There is no better time to consider joining Inland Revenue!  We are currently undertaking a major Transformation Programme to make tax simpler, more open and more certain for all New Zealanders, and to transform the way we do business. 


As part of our Transformation, Inland Revenue is moving to a new Learning Management System (LMS) - the latest version of Totara. We have a rare opportunity for an outstanding L&D professional to join our National Learning and Development team as an LMS Advisor.


Initially, your focus will be to assist the LMS Project Manager with the migration of content from the current LMS to our exciting new version. Once completed, you will become the sole owner and subject matter expert of the new LMS across Inland Revenue.


As part of the role, you will support course creators to make the most of the functionality of the new system and use your specialist knowledge to ensure we have quality learning available for our people.


You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the LMS by liaising with our system provider for solutions, as well as maintaining internal system interdependencies. Additionally, you will provide advice and project management know-how, while exploring and implementing other technology that will support a modern learning organisation.


You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of our Business Transformation training programme.


To successfully tackle this role, you will be both technology savvy and have a background in Learning & Development (L&D).


You’ll need to demonstrate the following:


-      Exposure and understanding of training delivery

-      Proven experience in LMS management

-      Comfortable in a digital environment

-      Problem solving skills in regards to the technical aspects of the system

-      Project Management exposure and understanding of project methodologies and documentation.
